Американська актриса українського походження Віра Фарміга у програмі Дейвіда Леттермена на американському телебаченні висловила своє ставлення до ситуації в Україні.

Про це повідомляє медіапортал української діаспори VIDIA.

"Мені не подобається те, що відбувається в Україні. Я не вірю в ті історії, що усе це – задля миру, задля суспільства. Там озброєні солдати, які, фактично, відбирають землю. І це не нормально", – сказала вона.

Відповідаючи на репліку Дейвіда Леттермена про те, що Путін украв в російського народу 70 мільярдів доларів, Віра Фарміга сказала: "В українській мові є багато приказок, зокрема, "Не рухай *** – не буде смердіти". Путін повністю контролює український бізнес".

"Ми бачимо цю ситуацію так, ніби цей конфлікт віддалений, але це не так. У будь-який момент один з його ключових гравців може зробити дуже небезпечний крок в цій грі, і це змінить світ, в якому ми звикли жити",  - підрекслила вона. 

Нагадаємо, під час протестів в Україні Віра Фарміга висловлювала солідарність із протестувальниками.
