В США готовится к запуску социальная сеть под названием BlueLine, зарегистрироваться в которой смогут только сотрудники американских правоохранительных органов

Как сообщает «Lenta.ru», социальная сеть была разработана шефом полиции Лос-Анджелеса Биллом Браттоном (Bill Bratton). По замыслу Браттона, BlueLine должна стать местом, где сотрудники правоохранительных органов смогут переписываться между собой, публиковать фотографии, проводить видеоконференции и налаживать связи с другими участками по всей стране. Специальная разработанная для будущей сети система безопасности, по словам Браттона, надежно защитит все сообщения и посты пользователей BlueLine от посторонних глаз.

Сто сотрудников полиции Сан-Франциско и Лос-Анджелеса уже тестируют работу соцсети в закрытом режиме. Запуск сети планируется осуществить во время ежегодной конференции Международной Ассоциации шефов полиции (International Association of Chiefs of Police, IACP), которая пройдет в Филадельфии в конце октября 2013 года.

Будущую социальную сеть для полицейских американская пресса уже успела назвать «LinkedIn для копов», намекая на схожий принцип формирования пользовательской аудитории. Социальная сеть LinkedIn была запущена в 2003 году. Она объединяет пользователей, основываясь на их профессиональных контактах и истории их карьерного пути. Пользователями LinkedIn являются более 200 миллионов человек по всему миру.
