Собственные корреспонденты украинских каналов «Интер», «1+1» , ICTV , «5 канала» и журналисты местного «7 канала» заявили о том, что больше не будут помогать российским коллегам контактами, видео и комментариями. Такое решение вызвано тем, что многие российские медиа, по мнению журналистов, перевирают информацию о событиях в Украине, чем нарушают журналистские стандарты.

Фрилансеры российского канала LifeNews Алексадр Милюков и Ирина Назарчук решили прекратить работу с каналом. «В знак протеста против некорректного и искаженного освещения событий в Украине российским каналом LifeNews мы, русскоязычные одесситы Ирина Назарчук и Александр Милюков, прекращаем сотрудничество с каналом в качестве внештатных корреспондентов. Снимать штурм радикальными пророссийскими организациями здания ОГА в Одессе не будем», - написал Милюков 3 марта в Facebook, а также опубликовал там фото перечеркнутого редакционного свидетельства.
Собкор «Интера» Андрей Анастасов в интервью одесскому «Откат» заявил о том, что одесские журналисты стараются по мере сил повлиять на информационную войну.
«Мы - одесские собкоры всеукраинских центральных каналов и несколько одесских каналов - договорились: прекращаем сотрудничать с россиянами. Не будем больше с ними делиться контактами или передавать наше видео, - заявил он. По словам журналиста, от сотрудничества с российскими коллегами, кроме «Интера», отказались одесские корпункты телеканалов «1+1», «ICTV», «5 канала».
