На главной странице украинской версии поисковика появилось изображение с пожеланием пользователям веселых праздников.

Дудл был создан по случаю приближения новогодних праздников. Так, уже завтра, 25 декабря, в Украине будут праздновать Рождество верующие католической церкви, до Нового года осталась ровно неделя, и две недели - до Рождества, которое празднуют православные и греко-католики.

Справка. Дудл - модификация надписи «Google» на главной странице поисковика по случаю того или иного события. Происходит от английского «doodle», что обозначает специфический тип бессознательного рисования, характерным примером которого являются рисунки на полях ученических тетрадей и студенческих конспектов.

Чаще всего поводом для создания праздничной версии логотипа становятся большие праздники вроде Нового года или годовщины рождения или смерти известных людей или знаковых событий в истории.

В этом году, например, украинский Google создавал дудлы к своему дню рождения, к 126-летию автора парадокса о «мертвого живого кота» физика Эрвина Шредингера та130-летия выдающегося писателя Франца Кафки.
