Комісія з радіо і телебачення Литви, що контролюэ діяльність теле - і радыоретрансляторыв і підвідомча парламенту, постановила накласти тримісячний заборона на ретрансляцію у кабельних мережах Литви російського ТБ-каналу «НТВ-світ»  

Рішення було прийняте одноголосно, проте його має підтвердити суд, повідомляє«ИТАР-ТАСС».

 
Згідно із законом, пояснив вердикт комісії її голова Едмундас Вайтекунас, заборонено поширювати інформацію, яка підбурює до війни, є за своїм характером дезінформаційною, містить заклики до розправи над групою людей».
 
Претензії до «НТВ-світ» пов´язані з демонстрацією документального фільму, присвяченого подіям січня 1991 року у Вільнюсі, трактування яких досі викликає в Литві політичні суперечки. Усі версії, що розходяться з офіційною, сприймаються дуже гостро. У жовтні минулого року за показ передачі російського виробництва «Людина і закон» на ту ж тему був оштрафований і на три місяці позбавлений ефіру «Перший Балтійський канал»
