Як стверджують розробники, унікальний додаток тим, що на відміну від Citrix, TeamViewer та інших, Parallels - не просто відкриваються на екрані iPad, а й "адаптуються" під планшет, включаючи навіть керування. Програми з комп'ютера відображаються на робочому столі iPad у вигляді іконок, як і штатні додатки для iOS. Розробники уточнюють, що програми для Mac в середовищі Parallels Access працюють повноцінно, в той час як підтримка програм для Windows реалізована поки що в бета-режимі. Зазначимо, Parallels Access складається з двох компонентів: додатку для iPad, який можна завантажити в магазині App Store, і клієнта для ПК, який завантажується з сайту Parallels. Для роботи сервісу необхідно інтернет-з'єднання. Річна підписка на Parallels Access коштує 79,99 долара, але перші 14 днів користуватися додатком можна безкоштовно. Як повідомлялося раніше, в інтернеті вже з'явилися перші відеоогляди нової iOS 7 від Apple. На нову "яблучну" операційку вже можна подивитися в дії.
