За даними ЗМІ, авіакомпанія сумнівається в готовності експлуатувати нові вітчизняні літаки через проблеми з імпортозаміщенням ключових вузлів — авіоніки, двигунів і шасі.

Керівництво «Аэрофлота» заявляє, що на даний момент немає впевненості у надійності нових моделей. Основний пріоритет компанії — забезпечення діючого флоту запчастинами і двигунами для іноземних літаків.

 Генеральний директор Сергій Александровський під час внутрішніх нарад неодноразово наголошував, що в найближчі роки авіаперевізник не може повністю покладатися на вітчизняний авіапром.
