Французькі проукраїнські активісти зірвали презентацію книги колишньої керівниці телеканалу RT France Ксенії Федорової на міжнародному книжковому ярмарку в Європі — паризькому Фестивалі книги (Festival du Livre).

Відео протесту, організованого Французьким комітетом європейської мережі солідарності з Україною, виклав у фейбуці заступник голови Союзу українців Франції Володимир Когутяк.

«Солідарність з Україною», — скандують кількадесят активістів з українськими прапорами, які взяли в облогу стенд видавництва «Fayard», де мала відбуватися презентація.

Вони також увімкнули сигнал повітряної тривоги в залі та виклали м’які іграшки, забризкані червоною фарбою.

Відео також розмістило на своїй сторінці у фейсбуці посольство України у Франції, подякувавши свідомим громадянам та активістам.

На сайті видавництва Fayard зазначається, що авторка книги «Заборонено. Свобода вираження поглядів за певних умов» російська журналістка Ксенія Федорова заснувала канал RT France, президентом якого була з 2017 по 2023 роки.

А в описі йдеться про те, що книга «розкриває замовчувану правду та описує маневри, які призвели до викорінення дисидентського голосу в новинах».

Паризький книжковий фестиваль цього року проводиться під патронатом президента Еммануеля Макрона.

З 11 по 13 квітня в Гран-Пале свої здобутки представляли 450 видавництв.
