Голова банківського комітету, сенатор-демократ Шеррод Браун у соціальних мережах виклав відеоролик із закликом "повністю заборонити китайські електромобілі в Америці. Китайські електромобілі становитимуть загрозу існуванню для американської автомобільної промисловості", - повідомляє  ВВС

Це найбільш різка і найгучніша заява щодо китайських електромобілів серед тих, які робили будь-які політики.

Пропозиція прозвучала після того, як міністр фінансів США під час поїздки до Китаю заявив, що Америка не дозволить китайському імпорту знову наповнити ринок.

Зараз в Америці офіційно не продається жоден китайський автомобіль, але це пов'язано з імпортними тарифами, а не прямою забороною на постачання. Американський закон про зниження інфляції не включає автомобілі, вироблені з використанням матеріалів з іноземних компаній.

Китайські електромобілі можуть становити велику загрозу американській внутрішній виробничій економіці.
