У відповідь на рішення Відня позбавити реєстрації пропагандиста агентства ТАСС, міністерство закордонних справ Росії оголосило про вислання з країни журналістки австрійського телеканалу ORF Марії Кпіпс-Віттінг. Про це йдеться в повідомленні російського МЗС.

Московське зовнішньополітичне відомство стверджує, що 30 квітня Австрія відкликала постійну акредитацію у «кореспондента ТАСС» Івана Попова. МЗС Росії викликало австрійського посла, але Попова це не вберегло, й 7 червня він виїхав з країни.

У зв'язку з цим Москва вирішила вжити «дзеркальних заходів» і позбавила акредитації журналістку ORF. 10 червня їй вказали «найближчим часом виїхати з території Росії».

«У разі, якщо офіційний Відень продовжить практику дискримінації російських журналістів, відповідна реакція послідує негайно щодо австрійських журналістів»,– грозиться російське Міністерство закордонних справ.

Австрійська влада публічно не повідомляла про вислання пропагандиста Попова й поки не реагувала на позбавлення акредитації журналістки ORF.
