Протягом року чимало власників консолі PlayStation в Україні отримували листи, у яких їм повідомляли, що безплатна підписка PlayStation Plus закінчиться. Таке було навесні, таке було і влітку. Проте новий лист вже офіційно попереджає, що безплатний доступ закінчиться у листопаді 2024 року.

На відміну від попередніх випадків, коли такі листи отримували одиниці, цього разу багато власників консолі, які користуються її сервісами, повідомляють у соціальних мережах, що отримали сповіщення, у якому йдеться про те, що після 7 листопада 2024-го за підписку почнуть стягувати оплату.

Якщо користувачі не хочуть платити за підписку, у листі їм радять перейти у налаштування, де її можна буде у будь-який час до першого платежу скасувати, або ж переглянути інші опції, як-от вартість та рівень.

Sony почала надавати українцям безплатний доступ до підписки PlayStation Plus на початку повномасштабного вторгнення росії в Україну. Майже три роки користувачі могли без додаткової оплати насолоджуватися бібліотекою безплатних ігор, онлайн-режимом та іншими перевагами підписки, однак вже скоро за це доведеться платити.
