Понад 50% перших підписників Twitter Blue, які раніше платили 8 доларів на місяць, скасували передплату та відмовилися від синіх галочок верифікації. Про це повідомило видання Gadgets Now з посиланням на звіт Mashable.

Згідно з даними звіту, із приблизно 150 тисяч перших підписників на Twitter Blue «лише 68 157 залишилися та підтримували платну підписку станом на 30 квітня». 

«Це аномально високий рівень відтоку для послуги онлайн-підписки», — йдеться в моніторингу.

Окрім цього, попередній звіт Mashable показав, що половина передплатників сервісу Blue має менш ніж 1000 підписників на платформі. Ба більше, 2270 користувачів з верифікацією взагалі не мали слідкувачів.

Наразі Twitter Blue купують 444 435 акаунтів. Майже половина з них має близько 1000 підписників.

Нагадаємо, нещодавно Twitter повернув десяткам знаменитостей, акаунти яких мають більше мільйона підписників, безплатну верифікацію.

Серед тих, хто розкритикував платну верифікацію, — американський письменник Стівен Кінг.
