Більшість шотландців не підтримують ідею повторного референдуму щодо незалежності, повідомляє Reuters.

Перший міністр Шотландії Нікола Стерджен раніше анонсувала проведення референдуму восени 2018 року або навесні 2019 року.

Згідно з опитуванням Kantar, тільки 26% респондентів вважають, що референдум щодо незалежності Шотландії повинен обов'язково відбутися, в той час, як 18% вважають, що голосування має відбутися пізніше. Однак, 46% респондентів вважають, що референдуму взагалі не повинно бути.

Соцопитування також показало, що у випадку проведення референдуму, 55% проголосують проти нього, 37% проголосують за незалежність, а ще 8% респондентів не визначилися.
