Велика Британія ввела санкції проти трьох фізичних та трьох юридичних осіб, причетних до російської кампанії з дезінформації проти України. Про це повідомило «Радіо Свобода» з посиланням на повідомлення британського уряду.

Санкції запровадили проти Агентства соціального дизайну (SDA), яке, за даними міжнародного журналістського розслідування, отримує гроші від Кремля та просуває його пропаганду на Заході, пов’язаної з нею групи компаній «Структура», автономної некомерційної організації «Диалог» та їхніх керівників — Іллі Гамбашидзе, Миколи Тупікіна та Андрія Перли.

Як зауважили в британському відомстві, SDA разом зі своєю партнерською компанією «Структура» намагалася здійснити низку операцій, спрямованих на підрив демократії та послаблення міжнародної підтримки України. Цьогоріч агентство спробувало підбурити протести в шести європейських країн.

Підсанкційні особи причетні до дезінформаційної операції Росії під назвою Doppleganger, яка ґрунтується на імітації реальних медіа та видаванні за місцевих для країни, на яку вони спрямовані, для поширення вигідних Росії наративів.
