Помер депутат британського парламенту від Консервативної партії Девід Еймесс, якого в п'ятницю кілька разів ударили ножем.

Напад стався в депутатській приймальні у церкві міста Лі-он-Сі на південному сході графства Ессекс. 

Еймесс проводив рутинну зустріч з громадянами.

Поліція графства Ессекс повідомила, що за підозрою у вбивстві заарештований 25-річний чоловік. Поліція вважає, що він діяв сам.
