5 червня у Великій Британії вперше випустили в обіг банкноти з портретом Чарльза III. Про це повідомляється на сайті Банку Англії.

Зображення короля є на всіх чотирьох банкнотах (5, 10, 20, і 50 фунтів стерлінгів). Профіль монарха з'явився на лицьовій стороні, а також у прозорому захисному вікні поруч із зображенням Біг-Бена. 

На зворотному боці, як і раніше, можна побачити колишнього прем'єр-міністра Вінстона Черчилля, письменницю Джейн Остін, художника Джозефа М. У. Тернера та математика Алана Тьюринга.
