 Люди почали взаємодіяти з ними і писати про незграбні зображення та схильність ботів брехати в чатах. Вони розкритикували заяву віце-президента компанії з генеративного ШІ Коннора Хейза виданню Financial Times. За його словами, Meta очікує, що ШІ-користувачі будуть з'являтися на її платформах так само, як і людські акаунти. 

 Користувачі обурилися і заявили, що це порушить основну функцію соціальних мереж — сприяння зв'язку між людьми. Коли цього тижня вони почали знаходити деякі акаунти штучного інтелекту Meta, реакція зросла. Компанія почала видаляти пости ботів, багато з яких були опубліковані щонайменше рік тому, посилаючись на "баг".

Виникла плутанина. Нещодавня стаття у Financial Times стосувалася нашого бачення персонажів зі штучним інтелектом, які з часом з'являться на наших платформах, а не анонсу якогось нового продукту... Ми виявили помилку, яка впливала на здатність людей блокувати цих ШІ, і видаляємо ці акаунти, щоб вирішити проблему,— повідомила CNN в електронному листі прес-секретарка Meta Ліз Суїні.
