Автором законопроекту про декриміналізацію порнографії став народний депутат від фракції "Голос" Ярослав Железняк. Своє рішення він пояснює тим, що порнографія не просто стала буденним явищем для більшості українців, а й перетворилася на інструмент фінансування ЗСУ. 

Як легалізація порнографії може вплинути на економіку?

Перш за все, декриміналізація порнографії дозволить економити бюджетні кошти, адже на доведення провини людей правоохоронці витрачають щороку 85,5 тис робочих годин та 11,5 млн грн. Також декриміналізація може підвищити зайнятість. У сфері низький поріг входу: достатньо мати вебкамеру та доступ до інтернету. 

Оскільки за кордоном споживання порнографії набагато більше (лише на США припадають 13-14% доходів світової порноіндустрії), то легалізація такого контенту може стати одним з джерел надходжень валюти.
