Відключення з етеру "Еспресо", "Прямого" і "5 каналу", цензура та обмеження контенту: Держдеп США опублікував доповідь,  в якій оцінив пресу України як "частково вільну".

 У березні РНБО в умовах воєнного стану видала розпорядження про уніфікацію інформаційного потоку країни, зобов'язавши всі національні телеканали видавати єдиний 24-годинний випуск програм.

Згодом спостерігачі за ситуацією висловили занепокоєння, що єдине телевізійне мовлення може зрештою полегшити державний контроль над мовленням. Канали, які вважаються афілійованими з опозиційними партіями, зокрема "5 канал", "Прямий" та "Еспресо", офіційно не були запрошені до участі в єдиному мовленні, хоча час від часу ці три канали добровільно транслювали 24-годинну програму інших каналів. 

Також, як пишуть у Держдепі, посадовці відмовили каналам у доступі до урядових процедур після того, як вони висвітлювали "делікатні питання".
