Громадська рада при Держкомтелерадіо України обговорила низку законопроектів та законодавчих актів. Зокрема, члени громадської ради переважною більшістю голосів проголосували за вилучення з проекту указу Президента України «Про затвердження Стратегії розвитку інформаційного простору України» положення про ліцензування аудіовізуальних засобів масової комунікації та інтернет-видань – повідомили Watcher в прес-службі Держтелерадіо.

Окрім того, громадська рада звернулася до Голови Верховної Ради та Прем’єр-міністра України з проханням про необхідність ліквідації НЕК (Національною експертною комісією з питань захисту суспільної моралі).

Окрім того, Держкомтелерадіо розпочав підготовку проекту Закону України «Про внесення змін до деяких законодавчих актів України щодо протидії інформаційній агресії іноземних держав».

Метою закону є удосконалення механізму протидії інформаційній агресії іноземних держав.
