У документах стверджується, що керівники Trump Media & Technology Group Вес Мосс та Енді Літинський отримали завдання встановити корпоративне управління для нової компанії й знайти спеціальну компанію з придбання, яка могла б вивести на біржу і наповнити її коштами. Однак, згідно з позовом, вони не впоралися з жодним із завдань.

Через це Трамп вважає, що Мосс та Літинський не заслуговують на свою частку в 8,6%, яка зараз оцінюється в $606 мільйонів, і просить суд позбавити їх її.

Мосс та Літинський, які були учасниками шоу Трампа на каналі NBC, запропонували йому ідею Truth Social після того, як експрезидента заблокували у Twitter у 2021 році, коли його прихильники штурмували Капітолій.

Судова тяганина розгортається на тлі сильних коливань акцій Trump Media, які почали торгуватися минулого тижня. 1 квітня акції впали на 21% після того, як Trump Media повідомила про збитки в розмірі $58 мільйонів і відносно невеликий дохід у 2023 році.
