Компанія Dragon Capital завершила операцію з придбання ТРК "Радіо-Ера", тим самим розширивши свою участь в медіа-просторі країни.

"Радіостанція стане ще одним важливим активом в структурі медіа-власності Dragon Capital, яка вже володіє суспільно-політичним журналом "Новое время" і однойменним інформаційним інтернет-порталом", - йдеться в прес-релізі.

Як зазначається, курирувати всі медіа в портфелі Dragon Capital продовжить Віталій Сич, головний редактор журналу та сайту "Новое время", який до цього протягом 10 років очолював журнал "Кореспондент".

Керівником проекту "Радіо-Ера FM" стане Валерій Калниш, який раніше очолював газету "Коммерсант", радіо "Вести", а також інтернет-портал "РБК-Україна".

"Ми раді, що медіа-портфель компанії поповнився найстарішою розмовною радіостанцією країни з багатою історією, і поки не плануємо революційних змін на радіостанції", - заявив Томаш Фіала, генеральний директор Dragon Capital.

При цьому в заяві ТРК "Радіо-Ера" зазначається, що рішення про продаж пакета було непростим.

"Всі ми бачимо, що влада продовжує системний наступ на свободу слова, що виражається в постійних погрозах журналістам, необґрунтованих перевірках, закритті радіо "Вести", довгих причіпках і інсинуаціях навколо телеканалів "112" і "NewsOne", обшуках на "1+1", підпалах "Інтера", тиску на телеканал ZIK та його власників, переслідуванні сайту "Страна.ЮА", забороні соцмереж", - йдеться в заяві.

"На жаль, як "Радіо Еру", так і телекомпанію "Еру" не минула ця доля. Процес тиску на нас отримав несподівану розв'язку - продаж пакету акцій саме інвестору з американським корінням, який, з точки зору міжнародної юридичної і політичної практики, зможе забезпечити захист права на незалежну і професійну журналістику", - повідомляє прес-служба.
