Ексголова МЗС Китаю Цінь Ган помер у пекінському військовому госпіталі через тортури чи суїцид — Politico. 

Ган зник з публічної площини у середині липня 2023 року. Китайське МЗС не коментувало зникнення, а потім раптом повідомило про звільнення міністра. Останній іноземний чиновник, якого приймав Цинь Ган — заступник міністра закордонних справ росії Андрій Руденко. 

За даними видання, Руденко під час візиту до КНР міг повідомити китайському керівництву, що Цинь Ган та кілька інших чиновників скомпрометовані західними спецслужбами — нібито він та родичі кількох високопосадовців передавали "ядерні секрети" Китаю спецслужбам країн Заходу.

У вересні The Wall Street Journal писали що у Цінь Гана був роман у США, коли він був там послом у Вашингтоні.
