 Газета Los Angeles Times відкоригувала колонку на своєму сайті, оскільки вона «не відповідала редакційним стандартам». 

Сталося це після того, як тренер жіночої баскетбольної команди університету штату Луїзіана Кім Малкі розкритикувала колонку як «сексистську».

Контекст: перед грою з командою Університету Каліфорніі в Лос-Анджелесі оглядач газети Бен Болч написав, що гравчині команди«Леді Тигри» були "брудними дебютантками" і назвав їх «лиходійками».

Брудні дебютантки? Ви жартуєте? Я не дозволю тобі говорити про 18-21-річних дітей у такому тоні», - сказала Кім Малкі.

 Після критики усі брутальні фрази було видалено, хоча в заголовку все ще вжито слово «лиходійки».
