Google тестує нову функцію перевірки в пошуку, яка має допомогти користувачам уникнути переходів на фальшиві або шахрайські сайти. Про це повідомляє The Verge.
Деякі користувачі Google почали бачити галочки верифікованих сайтів, поруч з назвою самої компанії.
При наведенні на галочку з’являється повідомлення: «Це маркування свідчить про те, що цей бізнес є саме тим, за кого себе видає».
Схожий принцип вже використовує функція Brand Indicators for Message Identification в Gmail. Компанії, які погодились пройти верифікацію мають схожу галочку біля імені відправника листа.
Як повідомила представниця Google зі зв’язків з громадськістю Моллі Шахін, сервіс регулярно експериментує з функціями, які допомагають покупцям ідентифікувати надійні компанії в інтернеті, «і зараз ми проводимо невеликий експеримент, який показує галочки поруч з певними компаніями».
Google поки що офіційно не оголосила про реліз цієї функції, а також не повідомила чи відбудеться повноцінне розгортання.
Нагадаємо, Google запровадив зміни та вживатиме заходів щодо бізнес-акаунтів, у яких виявить фальшиві відгуки. Фейкові відгуки видалятимуть з акаунтів, для них буде обмежено впродовж визначено часу можливість отримувати нові відгуки та оцінки для рейтингу. Також сервіс попереджатиме користувачів, відображаючи оголошення у профілях, в яких видалено фальшиві відгуки.
