Минулого року набув чинності закон, який вимагає від великих платформ покладати більше зусиль проти поширення незаконного змісту та захистом від маніпуляцій. Будь-якій компанії яка порушила цей закон, загрожує штраф 6% від її світового прибутку.
Єврокомісія повідомила що X стане першою мережею щодо якої проведуть розслідування на підставі цього закону. Розслідування буде зосереджено на боротьбі з дезінформацією та поширення незаконного контенту в ЄС.
