У номінації «Висвітлення подій наживо» конкурс змагався з коронаційним концертом Чарльза ІІІ та Королівським фестивалем пам’яті Британського легіону.
Пісенний конкурс «Євробачення-2023», який пройшов торік у Великій Британії від імені України, здобув телевізійну премію Британської академії телебачення і кіномистецтва BAFTA у номінації «Найкраще висвітлення подій наживо». Список усіх переможців оприлюднений на сайті премії.
 

Церемонія нагородження відбулася 12 травня в Королівському фестивальному залі в Лондоні.

Нагороду на сцені вручили одній з ведучих торішнього конкурсу Ганні Ваддінґем. Разом з командою британського мовника BBC нагороду на сцені приймала й українська співачка та ведуча Юлія Саніна, яка була співведучою конкурсу.

Представник BBC зі сцени нагадав, що Британія отримала «честь провести конкурс від імені України» і, разом із організаторами Євробачення у Ліверпулі, подякував також українській команді Суспільного «за дуже особливу співпрацю». «Сподіваємось, ви пишатиметесь нами», — сказав він.

У своїй номінації «Євробачення-2023» змагалось з двома іншими продуктами BBC — концертом до коронації короля Чарльза, що відбувся у травні 2023 року, та щорічним Королівським фестивалем пам’яті Британського легіону.
