«Зелена карта» - цее міжнародний поліс страхування автоцивільної відповідальності. 

Ця система працює з 1951 року, рф приєдналася до неї у 2009 році.  Загалом до бюро входить 48 держав.  

Замість купівлі окремих місцевих страховок водій із країни-учасника системи може придбати комплексний захист для закордонних поїздок.

Загальні збори бюро «Зелена карта» відбудуться 30 червня, і більшість країн хочуть проголосувати за призупинення членства росії. У цьому випадку всі іноземні «Зелені карти» перестануть діяти на території рф, а російські за кордоном, причому навіть у дружніх державах.  

Для подорожей машиною в інші держави громадянам рф доведеться купувати іноземні поліси на кордонах, які будуть значно дорожчі.
