Ілон Маск підтвердив, що працює над альтернативою чат-бота ChatGPT під назвою TruthGPT. За його словами, його технологія штучного інтелекту «шукатиме правду» і «намагатиметься зрозуміти природу всесвіту», а не загрожувати людям. 

Зовсім недавно Маск говорив, що штучний інтелект — одна з головних загроз майбутньому людства, і закликав призупинити розвиток цієї технології. Вже 14 квітня західні медіа писали, що Маск зареєстрував  компанію у сфері штучного інтелекту під назвою X.AI Corp. і почав переманювати співробітників провідних проєктів, таких як OpenAI. 

За даними ЗМІ, бізнесмен найняв вченого з лабораторії ІІ DeepMind корпорації Alphabet Ігоря Бабушкіна.

Маск закупив тисячі потужних графічних процесорів від Nvidia, щоб створити мовну модель — систему ІІ, здатну обробляти контент та створювати тексти, схожі на людські.

Його мета – конкурувати зі творцем ChatGPT OpenAI.
