За словами дизайнерів Instagram, аудіо- та бренд-команди платформи витратили незліченну кількість годин на вдосконалення звукового досвіду, щоб кожна нота пройшла через свої етапи і викликала широкий спектр емоцій. Процес включав численні воркшопи, під час яких різні звуки тестувалися та підлаштовувалися, доки не потрапляли в потрібний акорд.

Врешті-решт, вони знайшли «звук, який відповідає тону кожного ролика — від серйозного до надихаючого та смішного».

Першим ритмом у композиції є барабан, обраний за його енергійний пульс, що відображає творчість, яку заохочує Reels, далі йдуть клавішні — «прості, людяні, грайливі», як описує Instagram.

«Ми навмисно створили звук, який має бути переривчастим, але недосконалим — метафора повсякденної творчості, яка не обов’язково має бути ідеальною, щоб нею ділитися», — пояснює Сієра Сінклер, саунд-дизайнерка Meta.
