У цій сфері в світі працює приблизно 125 мільйонів людей. Наразі відчутно змінюється клімат у країнах, де росте кава. До 2050 року від 43% до 58% світових земель для вирощування кави стануть непридатними. Це вибаглива рослина, особливо арабіка, на зерна якої припадає 70% світового виробництва, і яку всі люблять найбільше. 

Інші території, де стане тепліше – будуть доступними для вирощення, але це точно не покриє попиту. Тому вчені намагаються шукати нові сорти і схрещувати вже наявні. Поки виходить не дуже, тому готуйтесь, що дешевшати напій не буде.
