Обраний президент США Дональд Трамп вибрав колишнього помічника Джорджа Буша-молодшого Тома Боссерта на посаду радника з питань внутрішньої безпеки та боротьби з тероризмом.

Про це посилаючись на вашингтонське видання "Хілл", повідомляє Інтерфакс-Україна.

Ця посада в адміністрації Трампа передбачатиме розширене коло відповідальності та "незалежний статус поряд з радником з національної безпеки", зазначає газета.

Крім захисту від терористичних загроз, у віданні Боссерта будуть також питання кібербезпеки.

Як відомо, раніше ЦРУ в секретній доповіді прийшло до висновку, що Росія за допомогою кібератак втрутилася в хід президентських виборів, щоб допомогти перемогти Дональда Трампа.
