Компанія HMD Global оголосила про закриття виробництва і припинення випуску смартфонів під легендарним брендом Nokia. Про це повідомляє "Дивогляд" із посиланням на сайт компанії.
У вересні 2023 року компанія вирішила створити новий бренд HMD (Human Mobile Devices) і почати випускати нові пристрої. Так, як повідомляють у компанії, майбутні смартфони, планшети та TWS-навушники від HMD Global будуть представлені під брендом HMD.
При цьому згадка про легендарний бренд Nokia більше не відображається на вебсайті компанії, а також у соціальних мережах.
Так, першим девайсом, який збираються випустити під брендом HMD, стане смартфон. Його запрезентують на виставці MWC 2024 наприкінці лютого 2024 року. За неофіційною інформацією, девайс матиме камеру 108 мегапікселів і за зовнішнім виглядом буде дещо схожий на смартфон Nokia Lumia.
