Компанія Sony заборонила російським та білоруським акаунтам Steam активувати її ігри. Про це пише «Європейська правда» з посиланням на повідомлення російського видання Meduza.

«Видавець обмежив активацію цієї гри на території РФ і Білорусі. Тобто гра не активується на російських і білоруських акаунтах Steam. На території інших країн СНД гра активується успішно», — таке повідомлення отримали користувачі сервісу російського дистрибьютора «Бука».

Російський магазин ігор Steampay також повідомив про відповідні обмеження. 

Ще в березні 2022 року Sony припинила продажі своїх ігрових консолей PlayStation та програмного забезпечення в Росії. Тоді ж компанія також зупинила реліз гри Gran Turismo 7 для користувачів країни-агресора. 

Ігровий підрозділ Nintendo Co також оголосив про припинення постачання ігрових консолей та програмного забезпечення до Росії через масштабне вторгнення в Україну.
