Глава каталонського уряду Карлес Пучдемон оголосить про проведення дострокових виборів у Каталонії.

Про це повідомляють іспанські ЗМІ з посиланням на джерела, зокрема, Європейська правда із посиланням на видання El Pais.

Зокрема, за даними ЗМІ, Пучдемон відмовився від ідеї проголошення незалежності Каталонії на користь проведення дочасних виборів.  Про своє рішення глава каталонського уряду вже проінформував свою парламентську групу.

Повідомляється, що о 13:30 за місцевим часом Пучдемон виступить із офіційною заявою. За даними видання La Vanguardia, голосування призначать на 20 грудня.

Таким чином каталонська влада намагається уникнути подальшої конфронтації з Мадридом, зокрема, уникнути застосування статті 155 Конституції Іспанії, яка передбачає введення прямого правління автономією.  

У п'ятницю Сенат Іспанії повинен зібратись на засідання, щоб схвалити активацію статті 155 Конституції Іспанії.
