Лідер французької ультраправої партії "Національний фронт" Марін Ле Пен висловилися на підтримку кандидата в президенти США Дональда Трампа, заявивши, що його демократичний суперник Хілларі Клінтон принесе війну і труднощі в світі.

Про це Ле Пен заявила в інтрев’ю CNN,передає Reuters.

"Будь-кого, але не Хіларі Клінтон, тому що, я вважаю, Хіларі Клінтон означає війну, Хілларі Клінтон означає спустошення, дестабілізацію світу, економічні рішення, які матимуть руйнівні наслідки для мого народу, геостратегічні рішення, які можуть привести до глобальних конфліктів", - сказала Ле Пен, відповідаючи на питання, якого кандидата у президенти США вона б підтримала.

Ле Пен також назвала, що у неї є спільного із Трампом.

"Що у нас є спільне це те, що ми не інсайдери, ми не беремо участь в "системі", ми не залежимо ні від кого і не приймаємо рішення в залежності від будь-яких фінансових інститутів", - сказала вона.

Ле Пен є кандидатом на виборах президента Франції, що відбудуться в квітні 2017 року. Її партія набирає популярності на антимігрантських настроях у суспільстві. Як пише Reuters, опитування показують, що Ле Пен може пройти у другий тур президентських виборів.
