 Обидві компанії є приватними, що означає, що вони не зобов'язані розкривати свої фінанси громадськості.

У своєму пості на X Маск заявив, що цей крок "розкриє величезний потенціал завдяки поєднанню передових можливостей і досвіду xAI в галузі ШІ з величезним охопленням X". 

 Маск купив Twitter, за 44 мільярди доларів у 2022 році, звільнив його співробітників, змінив політику щодо мови ненависті, дезінформації та верифікації користувачів і перейменував його на X.
