Meta тестує нову функцію, концепцію якої компанія запозичила у своїх конкурентів – BeReal та Snapchat. Компанія підтвердила це виданню TechCrunch.

Нова функція для Instagram має назву «Peek» та дозволить користувачам публікувати автентичні фотографії, які можна переглянути лише один раз.

Функція Peek, схоже, є більш своєрідною версією сторис, яке можна переглядати протягом 24 годин. Згідно зі скріншотом, опублікованим реверс-інженером Алессандро Палуцці, фото, яким ділиться користувач через Peek, має бути зроблене у той же момент, оскільки він не зможе завантажити зображення з галереї камери. Крім того, фото не можна відредагувати або додати фільтр. Ця концепція стала популярна завдяки застосунку BeReal.
