Противники кандидата в президенты США от Руспебликанской партии Дональда Трампа устроили беспорядки на митинге в поддержку миллиардера в городе Сан-Хосе (штат Калифорния).

Об этом сообщает Associated Press, передает LB.ua

В ходе столкновений были избиты более десяти сторонников кандидата, также нападению подвергся полицейский. По меньшей мере одного человека забросали яйцами. Также противники Трампа сожгли несколько кепок, снятых со сторонников скандального кандидата.

Многие из числа участвовавших в беспорядках - мексиканского происхождения. Они выступают против обещанного Трампом строительства стены на границе с Мексикой.

На сегодняшний день Дональд Трамп - единственный кандидат в президенты от Республиканской партии. Его последний соперник Джон Кейсик вышел из президентской гонки 4 мая.

Президентские выборы США пройдут 8 ноября.
