Бюро Міжнародної федерації боротьби (UWW) переглянуло критерії допуску до змагань нейтральних спортсменів з російським та білоруським паспортами.

За новими правилами підставою для недопуску до змагань вважатимуть лише докази прямої військової участі у війні проти України або публічні заяви на підтримку військової агресії.

 

Таким чином атлети з Росії та Білорусі, які входять до лав Збройних Сил рф, Росгвардії та інших силових структур, але не висловились на підтримку війни в Україні матимуть змогу брати участь у міжнародних турнірах.

 

Однак, попри послаблення критеріїв допуску, борці з росії та Білорусі мають змагатися лише як нейтральні атлети. Тобто заборона на використання гімну та державної символіки залишається в силі.
