На Гаїті президент Жовенель Моїз отримав смертельне поранення.

Про подію повідомили в уряді Гаїті.

Мойзе був убитий у своїй приватній резиденції близько 1 години ночі за місцевим часом у середу, 7 липня.

У заяві прем'єр-міністра країни Аріеля Генрі йдеться, що в ніч на 7 липня "група невстановлених осіб, деякі з яких говорили іспанською", напала на приватну резиденцію Моїз і смертельно поранила президента.

Його дружина також отримала вогнепальне поранення в результаті нападу. Про стан її здоров'я поки нічого невідомо.
