Мэр города заявил, что сокращения связаны с тем, что где-то объединяют коммунальные предприятия, где-то сокращают "лишний административный персонал", убирают задвоенный функционал, а где-то заменяют "перекладывание бумаг цифровыми технологиями".

Больше всего "потерь" почувствуют штаты районных администраций — 36 человек в Новокодакском, 35 — в Соборном, 33 — в Шевченковском, 31 — в АНД районах.

Филатов пообещал предоставить "все исчерпывающие пояснения по каждому конкретному случаю", а увольняемым людям, по возможности, – альтернативы трудоустройства и соблюдене их трудовых и социальных прав.

Мэр Днепра подчеркнул, что принимаемые меры позволят городскому бюджету сэкономить "десятки, если не сотни миллионов гривен, которые будут направлены на развитие городской инфраструктуры", и сделают город ещё более удобным для жизни.

Кроме того, на заседании депутаты утвердили заместителей мэра Днепра – всего их у Филатова будет восемь.
