Тисячі мальтійців відгукнулися на заклик опозиції до акцій протесту у неділю у зв’язку з виявленням у міністра енергетики Конрада Міззі і глави кабінету прем’єра Кейт Шембрі офшрних компаній за кордоном.

Натовпи людей різного віку заповнили площу у центрі мальтійської столиці Валетти. В руках вони тримали прапори Мальти, транспаранти з написами "Геть", "Ганьба!", "Геть корупцію!", частина навіть одягла панами – символ офшорного скандалу.

 

Учасники протесту вимагали відставки прем’єр-міністра Джозефа Муската, а також двох фігурантів офшорного скандалу міністра енергетики Конрада Міззі і глави кабінету прем’єра Кейт Шембрі .

Нагадаємо, документи з "Панамського архіву" вже призвели до відставки прем’єра Ісландії.

Крім того, у суботу тисячі британців вимагали відставки прем’єр-міністра Девіда Кемерона, який володів часткою в офшорній компанії свого батька.
