Платформа для збору донатів Patreon розвиває функцію чатів для зв’язку творців контенту та їхніх шанувальників. Вперше вони з’явилися у вересні 2023 року в мобільній версії. Тепер користувачі можуть спілкуватися в чатах і в настільній версії, повідомив Patreon у своєму офіційному блозі.

«Відсьогодні творці та шанувальники можуть отримувати доступ до чатів як у мережі, так і на мобільних пристроях. Це було гаряче прохання, і це дозволяє творцям зустрічатися з фанатами там, де вони є, чи то вдома, чи на природі», — зазначено у повідомленні.

Оновлення дасть змогу авторам обирати, для кого саме діє той чи інший чат. Patreon тестує нову функцію, яка дозволяє творцям вибирати, чи буде певний чат доступний для всіх учасників, чи лише для платних, або лише для учасників вибраного рівня підписки.

Також автори на Patreon тепер можуть призначати модераторами довірених шанувальників або колег. Це надає авторам повноваження розробляти певні правила й заборони для своїх спільнот.

 

Чати містять набір емодзі та прямий обмін зображеннями, але незабаром автори отримають доступ до більш персоналізованих інструментів спілкування, зокрема відеонаклейок. Вони зможуть записати коротку відеовідповідь і додати її безпосередньо до повідомлення шанувальнику як відповідь у чаті.
