З пошукової системи Google було видалено 201 заблокований сайт, на яких розміщувалися російські телепрограми, занесені до санкційного списку Європейського Союзу (ЄС), повідомила Литовська комісія з радіо і телебачення (ЛКРТБ) у вівторок.

Як повідомляється, Google ухвалила це рішення після офіційного запиту від ЛКРТБ.

«Це означає, що якщо користувач спробує зайти на заблокований сайт, ввівши його адресу в рядок пошуку Google, сайт не з'явиться в результатах», - уточнили в ЛКРТБ.

За даними комісії, це не перший випадок співпраці з Google. Раніше компанія видаляла сайти за запитом ЛКРТБ за порушення авторських прав.

18 грудня комісія ухвалила рішення про блокування сайтів, на яких публікуються російські телепрограми, що підпадають під санкції ЄС.
