З метою скорочення витрат росіяни почали купувати розчинну каву в пакетиках, про це свідчать дані аналітичної компанії NielsenIQ. У лютому 2024 року попит на каву в пакетиках зріс на 10,5% у натуральному вираженні та на 1,6% у грошовому.

Усього частка кави над ринком гарячих напоїв до становить понад 63%, їх 46,9% займає розчинний. Попит на преміальні бренди падає, зростання кавових продажів збільшується тільки за рахунок напою в пакетиках, який у свою чергу дешевше за іншу розчинну каву на 63%. Треба відзначити, що продаж інших гарячих напоїв теж падає: чай — на 1,5% у натуральному і на 6,2% у грошовому вираженні, какао — на 1,8% і на 5,6% відповідно.
