Украинец Жан Беленюк победил в финальной схватке за титул чемпиона Олимпийских Игр и рассказал о своих эмоциях в коротком интервью.

Беленюк рассказал, что путь к чемпионству был очень трудный, а его концовка была неопределенной из-за травмы, полученной за три недели до начала Игр в Токио.

"Очень приятно. Я наверное еще не осознаю, что я сделал потому, что это был очень долгий и трудный путь. Я начал заниматься в 9 лет, сейчас мне 30. И наконец-то это случилось. Я хочу поблагодарить всех украинцев, которые поддерживали меня и верили в меня. Спасибо вам. Было действительно очень трудно. Извините за слезы, но это очень приятные ощущения. Так случилось, что концовка этого пути была очень сложной - я тяжело травмировался за три недели до Олимпийских игр и не был уверен, что буду принимать в них участие. И только вера моего тренера в меня дала возможность достигнуть своей мечты. Спасибо ему за это, спасибо моей маме, спасибо тем, кто меня поддерживал и молился за меня... Я поздравляю всю Украину с этой золотой медалью", - сказал Беленюк.
