Народным депутатам нынешнего созыва предлагают брать пример с экс-нардепа, лидера группы "Океан Эльзы" Святослава Вакарчука и сложить мандаты. Такое предложение распространяется в соцсети Facebook.

Как известно, в ноябре 2007 года Вакарчук был избран народным депутатом Украины по спискам блока «Наша Украина — Народная самооборона».

Через год Святослав Вакарчук сообщил, что подал заявление о сложении полномочий народного депутата Украины со словами - "Я знал, что в Верховной Раде происходят сложные политические процессы, но то, что делается в этом созыве - это был 2008 год, является борьба ради борьбы - и все! В таких условиях не хочу продолжать политическую деятельность".
