Неочікуваний Ахе-ефект виявила британськa фермерка Сем Брайс. Вона використовує дезодоранти типу Axe, аби завадити баранам битися. На іншій фермі кажуть – запах спрею допомагає знайти нову маму покинутим ягнятам. Про це повідомляє UPI. 

Брайс вирощує овець на фермі на межі графства Норфолк та Саффолк. Каже, в одній спільноті у Facebook прочитала, що можна використовувати спрей Ахе, аби маскувати запах гормонів у баранів. Через це вони перестають бути агресивними та припиняють битися. 

Брайс спробувала, але британську марку фірми Unilever – Lynx, оскільки саме Ахе у Британії не продають. І дезодоранти спрацювали.

“З того часу жодних бійок, сварок, колотнеч”, – каже вона. 

Ця практика зростає по усій Британії, відзначає Сем.

Інша фермерка, Кетлін Дженкінс, розповіла, що бризкає Lynx-ом на ягнят, від яких відмовилася рідна мама, якщо треба “вмовити” іншу вівцю прийняти такого підкидька. 

Вівці визначають дітей за запахом, і сморід дезодоранта може збити їх із пантелику. Дженкінс каже, що використовує Lynx “Африка” – у нього дуже сильний запах. Інші, менш насичені спреї, не працюють. 

Хоча, насправді, невідомо, на скільки дезодоранти є безпечними для тварин.
