Організатори дискваліфікували представника Нідерландів Йоста Кляйна з фіналу "Євробачення-2024", що відбудеться вже ввечері 11 травня. Про це йдеться у заяві EBU.

"Нідерландський виконавець Йост Кляйн не братиме участь у фіналі цьогорічного пісенного конкурсу Євробачення. Шведська поліція розслідувала скаргу жінки-учасниці знімальної групи після інциденту після його виступу в півфіналі ввечері в четвер. Поки триває судовий процес, було б недоцільно, щоб він продовжував брати участь у конкурсі",— зазначили організатори.

Водночас EBU каже, що дискваліфікація не пов'язана з жодним іншим виконавцем чи членом делегації. Під час пресконференції після другого півфіналу Йост Кляйн, який сидів поряд із представницею Ізраїлю Еден Голан, натягнув на себе прапор Нідерландів.

Також повідомлялося, що нідерландський артист не брав участь у репетиції фіналу "Євробачення". 

Вранці 11 травня поліція заявила, що Кляйна підозрюють у неправомірних погрозах. Як пише SVT, між фотографом і співаком могла виникнути сутичка. 

"Ми дотримуємося політики нульової терпимості до неналежної поведінки на нашому заході та прагнемо забезпечити безпечне та захищене робоче середовище для всього персоналу Конкурсу. У світлі цього поведінка Йоста Кляйна щодо члена команди вважається порушенням правил конкурсу", — наголосили організатори. 

Таким чином гранд-фінал 68-го пісенного конкурсу "Євробачення" тепер триватиме з 25 піснями-учасниками. Україна виступатиме під номером 2.

Йост Кляйн брав участь у конкурсі з піснею Europapa. Букмекери пророкували йому потрапляння у топ-10 конкурсу.
